On Thursday 29 June, Bogangar Public School kicked off early celebrations of NAIDOC week with many different activities across the school.
Students learnt about the importance of our Elders during NAIDOC week in 2023.
We had an assembly in the morning with some special Elders in attendance who shared some personal memories.
After assembly students from Years 3 to 6 headed off site for some learning on Country activities with local Elders.
Students from Years K to 2, stayed back at school for some fun cultural activities like nature art, Indigenous games and artwork.
A fantastic day of fun and learning was had by all students and staff
